While I enjoy the game, I have to very cautiously recommend this game. It serves well as a single player experience as a shooter metroidy type game. However if you're going into this game looking for a co-op experience this one will leave you a bit disatisfied. The 2nd player really feels like it was tagged on as an afterthought, where their life is totally expendable and they don't feel like an equal to player 1 at all. They can die, and then just res back in with full hp. It kinda ruins the challenge of the game since its so easy to abuse this, which is such a shame as I was really hyped to see a game brining lots of elements that i like together in a sweet and fun looking package.I could see this being a decent game if you have a child (or someone who's bad at games) you want to play with as the 2nd player could just be your tag along without really ruining the experience for you.. What a refreshing game!Greedy Guns is a metroidvania shooter with couch coop gameplay. This combination is really rare, especially on PC. The weapons are interesting and varied, and the way they interact (or don't!) with enemies keep you on your toes.I've had a lot of fun with it and I think you will too.. Overall pretty awesome. Get it and check it out, a nice metroidvania shooter. Great cartoony graphics, highly responsive and good-feeling controls, the music isn't annoying. Can't say how the co-op is since I've only played by myself so far. Wish the co-op was online.The problems:You start with double-jump, and there's almost never a time when you would want to single-jump. I wish it was just a bigger jump instead of mashing spacebar a million times in a rowIt's annoying to have to backtrack to pick up coins sprayed everywhere by dead enemies all the time, and some get dropped into inaccessible places like spike pits. On that note - ♥♥♥♥ 1-hit-kill spiky things. It's always been a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t mechanic. The map doesn't show where you've seen items/obstacles and you have no way of marking down locations/notes. Some of the rooms/fights are really frustrating. There have been instances where I just ran past all the enemies because they're such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t to fight. I smashed my desk in rage, it was so bad once. Some of the regular enemies (not bosses/challenges) have too much life / guns do too little damage. There's a high-damage/slow-ROF weapon with the best DPS I found so far, and sometimes a single creature takes 15 hits to kill. I would much rather there be more enemies that don't take a year to kill each, at least then it seems like you're making progress or something.... quot;A spectacularly playable game, intense action, and seemingly overwhelming (but possible) odds. I would like a shadow beneath the character and that first level needs some more artistic look because is bad comparable with the rest os the game and for new players may be bad to hook them up. 10/10 - Fun, GUNS and epic battles, epic bosses, epic miniBosses, epic game. The pacing is great, the art style is really good too and they even threw in co-op multiplayer!
